Creation and Carnage

For anyone interested in the artistic environment at the time of the First World War, including the period preceding the war, I’ve published a new e-book on Amazon-Kindle that covers the topic. The premise of the book is that the sensitivity of movements in the arts are such that they actually often precede the more tangible markers of change one finds in war and political disruption. The book is short — just a little over thirty pages — and is lightly illustrated. Thanks for looking...and even greater thanks if you purchase it.

Astrology and Psychoanalysis

My second attempt at self-publishing. Truth be told, this ebook is just a reworked blog post from this astrology blog but it was fun embellishing it and incorporating my own cover art and design.

Eventually I hope to write longer works, fiction, and maybe even address political issues 😱.

May the planets align well for you.

By the way. For what it’s worth, Donald Trump is “a Gemini” with Moon in Sagittarius and the planet Uranus prominent in his birth chart. What does that mean? Among other things, a very changeable, adaptable, and flexible personality - decidedly not “authoritarian.” The prominence of Uranus suggests an independent ground-breaking revolutionary personality.

“The Stars” do not favor the left’s delusions. In that sense, they denote the same conclusions as objective reality.

Libertarian Astrology

Libertarian Astrology is a new blog that you'll want to check regularly. In addition to being the work of a friend and fellow conspirator in opposing the powers that be, -- and the powers that want to be -- it offers insightful astrological appraisals from someone with a deep understanding of issues in politics, economics, psychology, and culture. It's rare to find astrological appraisals that are intellectually provocative as well as being free from the mind sludge of follow-the-leader leftism.

Definitely check out the link to "Political Ideology in Astrology" as well for an extremely thorough astrological inquiry into an amazing number of people and categories in the spectrum of good and evil.

Pallas and Other Indicators of Political Orientation

This website offers some interesting insight into the issues addressed on this blog, particularly in regards to the asteroid, Pallas. The site also offers the most extensive list I've seen of the charts of everyone related to politics in theory and action. I definitely find the stated association of Venus/Neptune to socialism to be intriguing as, to me, socialism is a romantic idealization of economics. The only thing I have trouble understanding is the finding that Saturn/ Sun aspects seem to appear with great frequency in the charts of libertarians. I don't question the site's findings but need to speculate as to why this correlation exists (it would suggest nullifying most of what I've written here, at least in regards to the more discordant angles of Saturn to the Sun). The only "excuse" I can consider thus far is that a polarity issue may exist in some charts where Saturn is projected outward and reacted to strongly when found in other persons or institutions, thus an enhanced awareness of the authoritarian threat and personal desire for individual freedom.

Astrology Without the Leftwing Aftertaste

This site will be dormant for awhile. 'Thoroughly immersed in pre-holiday errands and such. I hope to add some commentary and information in the coming year. In the mean time, please enjoy or be sparked to rage by what I have to say regarding Astrology and political philosophy.

There is plenty I can write regarding a field of interest that I've had for over 27 years. I feel that I can explain astrological principals in a way that makes them accessible but without the syrupy New Age attributes that come with many other web sites or publications devoted to astrology. Notably, this also means that I will espouse my astrological ideals with a bias for a more conservative view of life and world events. I do this not just because I am a "conservative/libertarian/classical liberal" (in the philosophical style of Edmund Burke, Winston Churchill, and Ronald Reagan) but also as a valid response to the dominance of left-wing thought that one finds corrupting so much of conventional astrology. I have all-too-often read relatively sane and interesting essays on astrology that eventually get in their cliche' comments on "selfishness" and "Reagan and Thatcher" or completely non-contextual rants regarding George Bush and the American "empire" etc., ad nauseum.

My first real posting regarding astrology is below and was posted at my other site for quite some time. I think it is an appropriate introduction to the way I will articulate astrological principals although some of my posts will be more neutral in content (the astrology of romance has little to do with political philosophy -- though many leftists would disagree of course since, to them, everything is political).

Astrology affords an insight into human character and mass-psychology that is interesting to say the least. Whether one believes in the predictive aspects of astrology or not, I think there is plenty in the ancient system that offers an insightful schematic of how the world operates.

Again, though it may be several months before I begin regular postings here, I hope that when I do, my observations will be intriguing or at least mildly interesting.

Delinquent Writing and Errand Overkill

I dare say, it may be centuries before I ever get anything else up here -- maybe never. Too much other nonsense in computer land to contend with.

May the planets symbolize good times to you and those around you.
